www wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. It’s fun and simple, you just have to answer the three W’s: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? You can also join by answering and linking your blog post back on Sam’s post.

What I’m currently reading:

My first book of Morgan Matson was The Unexpected Everything and it was lovely and entertaining! Now I’m moving on with Second Chance Summer and I can say that I’m loving Matson more and more! I also started reading Haze by Brandon J. Barnard. The author provided me a copy of the book and I’m only few pages in but so far it’s good. It’s set in post-apocalyptic London (2071) where air pollution is so high people can no longer go outside and breathe without wearing an oxygen mask.

What I recently finished:

The first book I finished last week was The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay (review here). I’m not saying I didn’t enjoy it but Nastya was not easy to like and I didn’t feel a connection with the characters. I felt detached most of the times and I guess it just didn’t work out for me. I gave it 3 stars since there were also good moments and sweet Josh and well, Josh! πŸ™‚

Now, now, let’s get to The Forbidden Wish by Jessica Khoury. What can I say? This book is captivating, beautifully written and I love everything about it! I haven’t had the chance to write a review but believe me, it’s gonna be a long one! Maybe I’m a little biased because I love fairytales but this is really amazing! πŸ™‚

What I’ll read next:

These three are what’s left on my TBR this month so they’re up next. But I’ll probably leave Fire Study last because you know, Yelena and Valek. πŸ™‚

That’s everything on my WWW this week. Happy Reading! πŸ™‚

    1. I can send you an e-copy of Haze if you want. Just let me know where I can send it to! The author would love to hear what you think of his book. πŸ™‚

  2. I still have to start reading Morgan Matson’s novels, but I’m hoping to read at least one of them soon. I already have a copy of Since You’ve Been Gone and The Unexpected Everything, so now the only thing that’s left is decide which one to read first. πŸ˜‰ The descriptions in The Night Circus are so beautiful by the way!

    Happy reading! Here’s my WWW.

    1. I’ve read The Unexpected Everything (it was my first book of hers) and it was good! If you love a lighthearted and entertaining book with a little touch of politics with some family drama and dogs and emojis then you will love this one! πŸ™‚
