Lost at Twenty

She didn’t know what else to do.

She didn’t have a job, her family thought little of her and her friends were all doing great. At twenty she felt so lost and it might be cliché but she felt alone in a sea of people. She felt like drowning in her own tears. She felt useless. She felt embarrassed. She didn’t know what else to do. What could’ve she done?

She fought.

She strived harder. She endured pain. She pushed herself to do better. From then she told herself she was the only one who can help herself. She needed to be strong. She needed to work harder. She needed to trust herself. So she fought.

And she’s still fighting.
