For Day 1 see my post here.
Heeya, everyone! I’m back for the second day of 3 Days, 3 Quotes Book Tag. Today’s quote is from Dr. Suess and one I really like. ๐
I just love this quote because isn’t this true? โฅ

I was just having a conversation with one of my friends about something very similar to that!
I kind of came to accept that having feelings for someone (without them knowing about it) is like living in an illusion, one you drew for your own. But reading this quote, I can’t help but agree. It’s very true

Sometimes it’s just hard to tell someone how you feel. Especially when they don’t feel the same way so most of the time you keep it to yourself, that way you feel like it’ll be okay since they don’t know about it and you won’t get any more hurt when they reject you or something. Sorry if what I’m saying don’t make sense. I’m still a little hungover from last night, I think!

I feel hungover myself at the moment, but I totally get where you’re coming from! It’s a mechanism we use to protect ourselves, and yet I’m not entirely certain it’s a good choice.

I know! It’s not. But some people just can’t help but drown themselves in an illusion instead of just braving their feelings.

And I can’t blame them for their choice, however sad it may be ๐ช
