Quotes & Lines #39

Morgan Matson surely writes lovely contemporaries and her books are some of my favorites! Since You’ve Been Gone is my fourth book of hers, the story of Emily who wakes up one day to find her best friend Sloane gone. Emily tries to find Sloane all through out the book only to find herself actually enjoying her summer without her.

“Real friends are the ones you can count on no matter what.
The ones who go into the forest to find you and bring you home.
And real friends never have to tell you that they’re your friends.”
