Hi, guys! It’s the last day of 2018!! I can’t believe that in less than 10hrs we’re going to start a new year. 🎉 It’s been a great, wonderful and blessed 2018 and I’m hoping 2019 would be much better! I’ll always look back and remember that 2018 is the year when I’ve grown professionally and emotionally. It’s when I became a part of a work team that doesn’t only help me achieve my goals but also cherishes and loves me. It’s when my relationship with one of the best men in my life is strenghtened by distance and challenges. 2018 will always be one of the best years in my life. It taught me a lot of things and I’m just happy I survived it with the people I love most.
Moving on, I’m here today because I know that every time the year ends or the new year starts we all have those resolutions we want to fulfill, or at least we try to. So, today I’m also going to list 5 of my resolutions here.
1. Don’t spend too much/Save. 💰
I’m the type person that when I have money to spend, it’s either I spend them all or not at all! There’s no in between so I’m either super rich or super broke. And most of the time it’s the latter.
2. See some places/Travel. 🌍
John and I travelled to Ilocos Norte and Palawan this year but I’m hoping in 2019 we can travel outside of the country. Actually, he visited Singapore and Japan this year to see his sister and mother but I didn’t have the luck to come with him. And since we work in the same company we can’t just file a leave together and just sweep each other off our feet and fly to wherever place we want to.
3. Move out/Rent. 🏠
It’s been long overdue but I think it’s time for me to move out and rent my own apartment. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now but since I don’t want to leave my sisters on their own (and I love them so much) I’ve been delaying. This is more of a goal for me when I started working but like I said, I don’t think I have a heart to move out and leave my sisters. Being with John now makes me rethink it because as much as I hate it, eventually we need to have our own apartment.
4. Get around more books/Read. 📖
Read. Buy more books. Reread. Read new books. Repeat.
5. Be more productive/Grow. 🔷
I may be productive in terms of cleaning our house, writing, shopping and working but I don’t think I’m not productive enough in other aspects of my life. So, I want to be more productive this 2019 and grow financially, professionally, emotionally, spiritually and yeah, hopefully physically in height!
I want to greet everyone a HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR and may our 2019 be blessed and fruitful! 🎉🎉🎉
This is Dez signing off of 2018 and see you all in 2019! 💕
