www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. It’s fun and simple, you just have to answer the three W’s: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? You can also join by answering and linking your blog post back on Sam’s post.

What I’m currently reading:

I’m around Chapter 7 with The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by Kiersten White and I’m still not sure what to think of it. I’m still trying to figure out if I like Elizabeth and what I feel about her desperation in finding Victor but I’ll probably find out soon.

The second book I picked up last week is an ARC from Netgalley, Bleed Like Me by Azzura Nox. I haven’t really started reading but I’ve turned a few pages already and plan on devouring it after posting this WWW.

I just picked up A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir this morning and I tell you guys, I’m both excited and scared to finally read what happens next with Elias and Laia and Helene! ATAtN surely left me frustrated and all but now I’m finally reading what happens next!

What I recently finished:

I’ve managed to finish two books, both were both poetry collections. The first one was Child of the Moon by Jessica Semaan, a poetry collection with powerful yet painful stories of childhood trauma. You can read my full review here.

The second book was Lord of Butterflies by Andea Gibson. This is my first time reading from the author and first time reading a book/poetry collection with LGBT as one of the subjects and it was something. I haven’t written a full review but I gave it 3.75 stars!

What I’ll read next:

the devil's thief

The Devils Thief by Lisa Maxwell will be my next read!

That would be all for my WWW this week. Happy reading! 🙂

  1. I’m really interested to see what you think of the Elizabeth Frankenstein book, since I’ve been wanting to read that, but have been afraid of it not being up to my expectations. :p Happy reading!
