www wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. It’s fun and simple, you just have to answer the three W’s: What are you currently reading? What did you recently finish reading? What do you think you’ll read next? You can also join by answering and linking your blog post back on Sam’s post.

What I’m currently reading:

I was gone for a long time because of my work (events) and since I was busy I didn’t get much time reading. My books got left out and now they’re begging me to pick them up again.

I’m still finishing Womanizer by Katy Evans which is taking me long to finish. I think I’m not in the right headspace for this one right now so it might take a while more before I finish it. I started reading Jigsaw Man by Elena Forbes a week ago and I’m only about  50 pages in but I’m getting more and more thrilled to know what happens next.

This morning I picked up The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas and I’m loving it more and more as I read on. Same with the second book in the Detective Erika Foster series by Robert Bryndza, The Night Stalker. I’ve heard only good things about these two books so I’m really looking forward finishing them.

What I recently finished:

For the past couple of weeks I was gone until yesterday, I only managed to finish two books. The first book was Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, another ya fantasy I enjoyed and the second This Modern Love a collection of letters, stories and photos from YouTuber Will Darbyshire. Both were great!

What I’ll read next:

My  next reads includes A Quiet Kind of Thunder by Sara Barnard, The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli and Tone Deaf by Olivia Rivers.

That’s it for my WWW this week. HAPPY READING!

  1. Love how you’re reading multiples from different genres. I recently got back to doing this since I took a break & was reading only one at a time. Audiobooks are a lifesaver for me. THUG was a powerful read, glad you’re enjoying the writing. Upside of Unrequited made me smile non-stop & now I’m a BIG fan of Becky Albertalli. I’d LOVE to read Nevernight this year, I’ve heard so many great things from other Fantasy readers as well. Happy reading! 🙂

    1. I agree that audiobooks are lifesaver!! Though it’s been a while since I listened to one since I’m trying to read as much physical books on my shelf as I can!
Nevernight is good! I loved it and can’t wait for the sequel. I’m drawn to THUG right from the first page and now I can’t stop reading.
And I’m really excited to pick Upside of Unrequited. 🙂
